STATEMENT

A major concern on people's minds these days is privacy on the Internet. We feel an obligation to inform you of how www.much.net handles information gathered at our site outlining how we handle people's information.

www.much.net makes use of CGI-BIN scripts and Server Side Include pages. This method of presenting information provides a great deal of flexibility and power in gathering information.

we do not have any interest in what an individual are doing at our site, or who they are! We are interested though, in what readers as a whole are doing. We want to know how a reader got here, what pages they tend to visit, and what pages they don't tend to visit. Here is the policy:

• We do not sell or disclose to any third party information gathered.

• The  banner rotation scripts only record view and click counts. Absolutely no other information is recorded in the database.

• All e-mail form submissions are logged to a file. This protects against lost e-mails. The file
  is purged frequently.

• The Guest Book and Bulletin Board are public, readable web pages. There is nothing we can do to prevent spammers from harvesting names from it.

• www.much.net   does not own it's own server. However we frequently remove databases with email addresses and keep them at a secure location.

• we do get logs of IP addresses hitting, and URLs referring to our site. We examine them and use them for statistics and safety purposes.   We reserve the right to publish and point out any interesting facts learnt from these - though we shall not use these facts for commercial purposes or spam.
